Amazon / Alexa "Smart" sticky-note printer "concept"

I can see the value for this because I know folks that like having lists on their fridge or in other places that they use often. It's a constant reminder. The thing is once you print a list, to add something you gotta print out a whole new one?

A dry erase weekly calendar on the fridge is what my sister uses. But I still know people who stick sticky notes in the kitchen or in their office to work with

I actually use good old MS sticky note and sync between my PCs and Android phones, and yes I would think it would be cool to have a cheap printer for my sticky notes. Oh MS please make sticky note for IOS.

Phone is miles ahead of a paper shopping list. Don't need a pen or pencil to cross it off the list when done, and I can easily organize the list according to where things are at the grocery store. But I have to smirk at the idea of Amazon trying to sell us "old" tech as new, including this and their Amazon bookstores.

I don't like the feel of ink on my skin so I use the back of zinfamous' hand as well.

I just use Notepad, keep the shortcut in the tray.

I have a ESC/POS printer that I should actually find a use for. Could make my own version. 😛

Seriously though I should try to find a use for that thing, they are kinda pricy may as well make good use of it. Could print out grocery lists or something. Sure I can do that with my phone but it's easier at the store to look at a piece of paper than pull out my phone and fiddle around with an app. I have enough thermal rolls to probably last my life time. Bought this for a purpose that never ended up happening.

For little reminders I actually tend to use the calendar app on my phone and just put an entry for it to remind me at the right time.

If only ALL printer papers were sticky. :smirk:

I'd end every list with "Hurt You" ... because it's the last thing I want to do.
