Good price, but don't be fooled by the discount percentage...it's normally $50-$60 (since late 2013). I usually hate these things because the batteries never hold a charge, but the reviews on this one are pretty good.

Yeah I know that's not the "normal" price... Just what they "list" it at. At <$40 it's a deal though for a well reviewed little machine.

Agreed, not knocking the deal, I just hate how Amazon tries to show how massive a discount they're offering. They say 69% here, but it's really ~20%. Still good if you're in the market!

I finally gave up on dustbusters when my most recent one stopped holding a charge after a few months, and now I just use my DeWalt 20V max handheld vac for everything. It's more expensive (as are the batteries), but I was already bought into the system for all my power tools, so it was worth adding the vac.

I have a few Black and Decker screwdrivers that use their Versapak batteries. It's really a racket because replacement batteries cost an arm and a leg. They used to have NiCads but now only sell the more expensive NiMH which self-discharge even faster (poor technology, low self discharge technology exists, but they don't employ it). The non-Black and Decker batteries that you see for sale are cheaper but they are utter crap in terms of just fitting in the tools. It's unbelievable that they could make something so shitty. So, I've been forced to shell out for the B&D "Gold" batteries to keep most of my tools working.

Some years ago I spotted a deal on a fairly portable AC vacuum at Sears and snagged two of them at $15 each! I have a big wet/dry but it's those $15 vacuums that I use 90% of the time. They do the job and are well designed.
