Guys,
I'm having a terrible time figuring out why my computer is so slow to load web pages. I'm on my new build, which is an Intel E4500 based on a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L motherboard. I'm running Vista 64 bit Home Premium, and pages are especially slow to load in Firefox.
Large images on Web pages often take longer to load (on my 5 Mbps connection) than they used to take loading on 28.8 kbps AOL back in the mid-90s...
Can someone please tell me what might be causing this? My connection speed is great, and my router doesn't appear to be the problem. I really feel like Vista is behind this.
