all the cars look better now, but the buses look the same... haha.

You obviously never resided there, or even drove on any of those freeways. To see them so deserted is effing amazing.

I drive to San Diego every December, relatives live in 56 x Black Mountain Rd area, I know the traffic there but the highways are now much wider than the pictures. But my point is, of course it will be empty, considering the population we had then and now, I am not surprised, there is no surprise, there is no awe factor.

I think the pictures are cool. I lived in Los Angeles for 7 years and I know a lot of those areas. Seeing those old pictures is very interesting.

Last Summer I drove I-5 from the Grape Vine straight through to Capistrano Beach and it was just like those pictures, smooth sailing all the way except with more lanes and less vegetation. I think LA drivers just like to whine.


Okay, it was late Sunday afternoon.
