If you're gonna hunt a lion, at least know how to shoot a gun. I can't believe they were high fiving each other afterward. That was probably the most pathetic display of shooting i've ever seen.

It's a "canned hunt", where the animals there are specifically for hunting. I don't how it works or how it's legal.

When I was on the shoot team at the our aquarium (we had tigers) we used this video as example of how even shooting a charging cat may not stop it, and the kind of pressure you could be under. We tried rooting for the lion every time we showed it, hoping the outcome would change....but alas...

Everytime I see this video, it pisses me off. A defense lion (and I have no problem hunting for food) is being shot and killed only to be stuffed. The fucking thing gets shot, has no clue wtf is going on, but is obviously wounded, decides to charge because it fears being killed - AND THE DUMBASS guys are so keyed in on killing this animal that they let off shots that nearly end up killing each other. STUPID ASS hunters.....you people make me sick....do anything to put a stuffed animal on the wall - even if it endagers you or anyone around you.

Needless to say, hunters in general make me feels as good a rusty nails and pig vomit. A friend of mine was hit by a stray bullet from a hunter miles away (in the leg). Took 3 weeks to find out who the fuck did it. The guy that did it was drunk, hunting, and shooting at anything (ended up hitting houses and fences too).

yea plus theres really no where to hide for the lion in wide open plains. its just pretty lame all around. its not sport, just gunning down an animal for kicks. those people were obviously not treking for days tracking it or anything, they probably had a jeep.

The only way I could respect hunting like this would be if they only had guns for last resort defense, otherwise its just a glorified shooting of "fish in a barrel". Spears/knives/bows/setting traps and having to track it and not just driving in and shooting...otherwise it isn't exactly hunting, its just shooting...lame.
