I think what's more amazing is that free countries openly give China business and allow them to host games like the Olympics even after knowing how they treat their people. Instead of these countries taking a stand on this issue, they instead strongarm their own people not to talk about the obvious.

Well I mean a lot of the world economy is dependant on China so we would have to be on the good side of the Chinese.

No, it is the other way around.

The Chinese economy is VERY dependent on exports to bring MUCH needed cash into the country. If the US and other countries went other places (like Vietnam for instance) the Chinese economy would hurt ...
