Woah that was cool, and crazy good flying.

Going under the dude's legs was crazy, and also going through that serving window into the theater.

You know, I remember reading about this dude who was trying to crack the mini electric helicopter code in the model airplane magazine probably 20 years ago, trying to make the world's first pico heli. iirc he cracked it, then mini choppers came out for $$$, then the dual-rotor ones came out, then drones came out, then the crazy mini-computer stabilizer boards came out, and now you can buy a mini R/C chopper at CVS for $19.99 that hovers like magic. Technology is crazy!

Well, it was actually the 10th take. :) It is one continuous take, but it wasn't a single take, technically. Very cool video though. The guy flying the drone is awesome.

Hah good point. One of my favorite continuous takes is Serenity's opening steadicam shot. Sooooo good:

That's got to be some serious skill. I have a friend who does FPV drone flying and his is always broken, presumably because he's always crashing it :tearsofjoy: So can only imagine the skill to do something like this in one shot. I doubt i could make it through the first door haha

I tried to fly my phantom indoors once. Bad idea. :p

Drone rules here are super strict, not a lot of places outside where it's actually legal to fly but indoors (private home) there's no rules as far as I know. Though in a public space it's different I think. Basically this video would be like a 10k fine here. If I recall the drone incident in LAX (which turned out to be lights on a crane) caused a knee jerk reaction to implement stricter rules and a license requirement here.

Wow that's a crazy fine, although i don't think it's too dissimilar here in the UK. We had a incident with a drone 3 days in a row at Heathrow airport (i think?) and planes didn't take off for quite a few days. I'm sure you can imagine the disruptions that caused.

That being said, i think we have some dedicated areas where drones are allowed to fly. Generally these are just large parks...

Wait a second......

How come nobody ever shot a porno with drones?

Like, can you just imagine a great big sweeping circular shot of a 22 German girl orgy with coochie cream shooting everywhere like a low budget Waterworld epic?

Judging from my past experience with drones, I would have crashed it into the front door about 10 seconds into the video :)

Some of the better drones today are very stable and easy to control.

First drone I bought many years ago was shit. Didnt have good stabilization, always drifting off course, crashed a few times, occasionally failed to receive a signal.
