Amazing distance ride, now how do I meet other riders?

Got up this morning and was supposed to go riding with some guys from work. They ended up having to cancel so I said screw it and went by myself. Took 16N out of San Antonio to Bandera and then continued west to the hill country.

The curves on that shit were amazing!!! The speed, the adrenaline rush, everything was frickin crazy. Being able to do something other than commute and travel on the interstate in a straight line was the best thing ever. Can't wait to do it again next weekend. Getting over 50mpg and managing to bust the 3-digit barrier was pretty cool too.

Now, as for my question: Where's the best place to meet other riders? Looked at meetup.com but haven't tried anything yet. Friends at work ride cruisers rather than sport bikes and the like. Any ideas?

Go do three sisters if you haven't already. there's always a group doing it sometime

That was something I wanted to do but hadn't tried any curves or done any distance riding so I didn't know how it would affect me physically. Will do it very soon...

Bike forums are a great place to meet other riders. Most don't care what you ride as long as it's two wheels.
