So... what's that running on, exactly? 8800GTX SLi? Does anyone know what kind of setup you would need to run the game at that level of graphics (maybe lower res, though) and still get playable framerates?

8900GTX in quad SLI, i'm guessing, to make it look like that and be playable

Guys I think this is a pre-rendered image for marketing purposes, not a captured scene from the game. Many images like this come into surface before a game release, and most of the times they use even higher resolutions like 3xxx x 2xxx..

Yes, but the crazy thing is that crysis is the first game where it MIGHT actually be in-game....

If you look at the barrel and upper edges of the tank there is a fair amount of aliasing which makes me think it may actually be from in game

But it will probably be no doubt about that. I was just responding to the "requirement" comments that do not have any meaning. I can render a very complex scene for hrs in an insane resolution and present it ready ;)

Yeah but I don't think I've ever seen prerendered stuff with aliasing

They could do it I guess, unless there's a limitation in the engine which I highly doubt, but the point is to present an actual "in game" scene. They just use a higher resolution. It is a usual phenomenon..
