Amazing crash leads to Civic-kabob

Check this out - amazingly neither the driver nor the passenger was killed. I am frankly amazed the car was able to get up enough speed to be completely impaled like it was.

I searched for "crash," "Honda," and "Civic". If this place is going to be overrun by the Repost Police, people need to use descriptive thread titles. Unlike some people, I guess I just don't have time to look at EVERY FRIGGIN' THREAD to avoid the wrath of folks with nothing better to do than cry repost.

sheesh, just accept the fact that this is a repost. no need to rip on the repost police, they'll always be there.

OK, OK. I get it.

What I want to know is, where is the original thread? I have now even run a full-text search for it and can't find it. I still take exception to Repost Nazis, but I am also sincerely stumped on this one.

Actually, the driver was completely severed in half by the crash. There are a few articles out there on this crash. The paramedics took the 2 halves of the body out of the car before taking the pictures.

This is the first time I've seen this, thanks for posting, if you find other interesting shiets, please post it, I don't care if any one posted it before.

nice find vito. woah!ouch! and the driver actually live through that accident?
:Q

um that right there is a faulty built guard rail....they are suppose to be bent at the end so if you hit it at the end it buckles and comes off the wooden poles in a C shape......its not suppose to impale cars like this.....i rember there was some lawsuit over this type stuff a while ago (improperly put together guard rails that lead to deaths)

If you're doing 120 MPH the normal rules do not apply

Any links? Everyone else seems to be saying that both the driver and passenger lived.

No, as it was a while ago and I forget the article names I was reading it from. I'll reverse it for you: Do you have any links aside from random people (who know nothing and were not at the actual incident) on an internet forum proving that the people lived? That mass of blood on the guard rail came from somewhere.
