WOW!
That spinning/morphing thing with the green grid over it near the end when it is showing all the names is beyond amazing!!!

I wish you could run it in a higher rez though, I was watching it in a little window because it looks so much better like that.

*bows down*

I started this movie, thinking that this guy was an awesome coder.

I ended it realizing that he is worthy of being called a programming god.

Was it just me or was it kicking the monitor on and off?
Or was it just an effect?
Because it looked pretty damned real. And I can't help but think that turning your monitor on and over so much is a great idea.

Other than that, EXCELLENT work, very impressive.

It wasn't. It was switching monitor modes.

Technically its an intro, not a demo :)
It was pretty nice. Not the best intro that i've ever seen. It looked a bit too direct3d. And the music didn't match the overall scenes. But still, it was nice.

I'm amazed. Gotta factor in compression some, but, that's still an impressive bit of work. Would love to see some of that as WinAMP plugins. Hope I'm not home to a Trojan now...:frown:

This program, just like "the.product", is all done with text based textures and scripts. The models have a lookup table for generating the normals, it's all really quite impressive with the amount of planning that goes into it.

I can't begin to code like that, but I have had several discussions with developers of intros/outros/demos and they all agree, it's the way of the future and a great way to kill bloatware.
