Ran through Fridays automotive section in the local paper and was amazed at some of the deals Ford is offering over Labor Day.

$12,000 off MSRP on leftover 2010 Mustang GT convertible
$13,000 off MSRP all remaining 2010 Roush Mustangs
$5,000 off MSRP on all 2011 Mustang GT's
$6,000 off MSRP all 2010 Focus
$6,000 off MSRP all 2010 Fusion V6 & Escape V6
2011 Mustang V6 $18,988
$4,000 off all Fusion & Escape Hybrids

Was really suprised to see the 2011 Mustangs getting such high discounts already considering the newer exterior and all new powertrains.

I think that's just local or regional to you - no discounts are showing for any 2011 Mustangs near me.

12K off? Wow....how highly priced is a stang convertible?

Last I looked it was mid to high 30s for 2010 GT convertible with a 5 speed. I pointed and laughed.

Still, I'd be interested in checking out the 2011 GT for 5k off of sticker. I was expecting to see those gouged to hell and back until mid winter at the earliest. That would put it at about 28k for the 'base' GT with a 6 speed and 400 odd horsepower. That's a pretty serious performance bargain.

If my wife gets wind of this and the deal is available in Colorado I'm going to have a car payment, I just know it.

LOl @ people thinking Mustangs are still hotrods compared to 1000HP propane injected turbo Diesels these days. PS it's not the 1960's anymore. My F350 will smoke most cars including vettes. If I can't i can still crawl over one.

And aren't the 2011 Super Duty's much improved over the 2010's - hence the massive discount.

Anyways - if your gonna go Diesel - Cummins!

All 2010 Ram 2500, 3500, Crew Cab, mega Cab gas or Diesel - $10,333 off + more if you qualify!

Wish I had more credit history to get a good deal, wouldn't mind a 2011 GT with the 624hp SC kit.

I don't know best. From what I've heard the 7.3 was best ford diesel...they have changed it like 4 times since 03 so that tells you something.... hmmm I have 01 7.3L get 21 MPG and has about 660 HP. I could get more but I drive like an old man so what's the point.

Yeah Cummins has a solid reputation and Duramax is voted best lately but really you can't go wrong with any modern diesel. Unlimited power with simple mods and awesome gas mileage for a truck compared to gas.

Thx

The trick with these "Amazing deals" is that it is usually, only for one specific car on the lot. Which was sold before you got there. In most states all that is required is that the dealer have the inventory number listed for the vehicle that is listed in the ad, and that the vehicle was in stock at the time the ad was submitted. They usually pick a car that is pending a sale when they submit it for the advertising, that way their chances of having to actually honor that sale price are slim to none.

I hope you really need the size and carbon blackhole that F350 causes.

I love the fucktards that need an Expedition for their shitty 15 foot boat and because they have 2 kids and dog.

Why do people think they can run other people's lives? Even down to telling them what vehicle they can buy. It's incredible...

Well last I checked none of the parking spaces at any of the stores around me are sized for these. As a result these people either bang the fuck out of the cars next to them, leave their ass-ends out in the lanes of traffic, or just park lengthwise across four spaces.

We live in a community. People don't seem to care how their choices impact others.

Usually these same people are living beyond their means and blocking the sidewalks of their community as well with too many vehicles for their property.

Virtually any vehicle can be built to go fast. It may be easier / cheaper to squeeze 1000HP out of your turbo diesel, but it's not that hard out of a forced-induction gasoline engine either. In the end, you either have a heavy truck with horrible aerodynamics and an ass-ton of power and torque, or you can spend more to get the same power out of something that's lighter and rips through the air much easier.

Unless you're saying that these 1000HP propane injected turbo diesels are actually rolling directly off dealers' lots, I don't see your point. As I said, anything can be built to go fast.

Every truck from the big 3 has something wrong with it, and each does something well. Combine them all into 1 product, and I will be a happy camper.

As soon as they put a Cummins diesel in a Ford body with a Allison transmission, I will be all over it. I have shattered ring gears on a Dana 80, rebuilt (or replaced) my trans a few times, and now my body is rusting out from underneath me.

And I love the fucktards who somehow think its their business to tell others what they should drive. You drive what you like, and I'll drive what I like.

P.S, I drove my F150 to the convenience store last night and got a soda. BWAHAHAHAHAHA

Don't stop now, you're on a roll. What other things we are doing should we be changing to fit your warped views and make us one with the universe. Please elaborate as the others in my office are laughing their asses off right now.
