Amanda Tapping. WOW. I think she is the reason i keep watching Stargate SG-1 (now with Pic).

Yep she is one reason. Teal'c is pretty cool and Jack is just plain funny but Jonas... he can go to hell because Daniel was just plain better.

but daniel is on tonite and he will be regular again next season.
 
Rumor has it that Jack/McGyver is leaving the show next season. A shame since he's where most of the comic relief on that show comes from.
 
I hate my local cable, when it comes to TV. Every other "region" around here gets SCIFI, but for us it's part of the digital cable package. Pfft.

Our cable package around here is wierd too. No Cartoon Network wtf is that? Plus no two-way cable until October if there are no delays with Patriot Media taking over RCN's cable modem service.
 
My understanding that for the next season they signed Richard Dean Anderson. I found something over on Sci Fi, maybe I can snag that link again and post it.
 
I liked the "Groundhog Day" episode the best where Teal'C and Jack keep living the same day over and over...
 
I think he is going to be on next season, because he's still co producing the show. Probably a diminished role, or something like that. This last seasons needs to pave the way for the spinoff series, and upcomming movie, if I remeber correctly.

Yeah Storm, our cable company is weird. I think we're on Comcast now. While ATT or Verizon was around, not sure which one, they kept changing the packages. We pay for expanded cable, so about 60 channels or something. So for a while we'd have SciFi, then it went away. I honestly think there were a few channgels they knew they couldn't get away with, if they put it in digital cable (espn, discovery, news channgels), but a few of the specialty channels like SciFi, they figured they could, at least in our area. Bastards. I should just get friends to tape the episodes for me. The ones on the net are so low quality.
 
ya. but it works well for both my wife and I, she has loved Dean anderson since McGuyver, so she can't say anything about me watching for Amanda Tapping.
 
Spinoff? where did you get that info from? the SG1 universe is so rich. Almost as much as Startrek and star wars, I hope they do expand on it a bit.
