AM4 X300 boards

I would be cool with minimal north/south bridge functionality, plus I've seen X300 will have the extra north bridge PCIe lanes (v3x4) free for on board chips or PCIe slots; so I'm hanging out to see what AM4 X300 systems might be coming. They have obviously been announced but I've seen nothing on the market so far, nor can I see anything coming in the near future.

Are they still coming? Are AMD trying to weasel more chips out of their WSA by restricting X300 boards? Am I sailing close to the tin-foil-hat world in my musings?
