AM3 stock cooler for Socket 939

So, I was attempting to rebuild my nostalgia rig with a Pentium III processor without a mobo manual and long story short - it went up in smoke because I connected a USB front panel cable where I wasn't supposed to. Since some old games that I absolutely love (like Beyond Good And Evil) don't run on anything later than XP, I decided to build another nostalgia rig, this time using Socket 939 parts that I have lying around. I still need a mobo though. The problem is, however, I don't have a heatsink anymore. But what I do have is a stock heatsink from a Phenom II 980. Will this heatsink fit on a Socket 939?

Mounting bracket has pretty much remained the same for AMD (thank you for not changing that), so yes, it'll work.

Good luck with the mobo search. I'd tell you to avoid getting a DFI because I had one and boy was it a bitch to overclock.
