It will be nice when they are released. My motherboard is AM2+ but my CPU is AM3. If I get an AM3+ motherboard I can keep using my Athlon II but be able to use DDR 3 and be in position to use Bulldozer.

If I remember, i.e. rumor, the 8XX series can use bulldozer but it will lack certain features that the 9XX series turns on.

So these 8xx boards suppprt BD but not all its features.
