Thinking bestbang for buck is 8320. Any other ideas?

Wondering if these will make it to $99 this Black Friday or Cyber Mon. Noticed MC has that deal going but alas I do't leve near one... Was surprised to see this chip beats out a 2600k on some encoding benchmarks... I did not knwo it beat it on anything...
 
If they come down that much is the 8320 a good chip for a home server that I want to run a bunnch of VM's on, or is it overkill?

Probably better to use something more low power.
