AM2 vs AM3 HS retention mounting differences

I'm finding some mixed answers on this.

Do AM2 and AM3 boards share the same hole spacing for the heatsink retention clip?

I'm looking to upgrade my AM2 rig to a AM3 setup and I'd like to reuse my dtek waterblock. It's the old style with a mounting plate instead of the "pro style mounts".
