AM2 Motherboard with integrated video

Is there anything out now or coming out with good Vista Aero support? I have a Athlon64 with ATI express 200 and it runs like @ss on vista. Are the 6150 nvidias any better? Also whats the next integrated mobo coming out from ATI and Nvidia?

I don't think any IGPs are going to give decent performance under Vista, with the exception of Intel's new GMA3000<?> IGP. You'd be better off buying a cheap GF7300 or X1300 card.

HexiumVII- ATI's (or maybe now it'll be AMD's) RD690 (aka RS690) chipset for AM2 should be able to run Vista well, it'll have an X700 core (but maybe not X700 performance), so running Vista with all the goodies turned on shouldn't be problem.

It'll have HDMI too, so, there should be no concerns with it not supporting full HD.

I'm running a now unstable Super-7 system, and am literally checking like twice a day to find out when the first motherboards with this chipset will be available....it cannot happen soon enough for me...

Here's an old article that suggests that ATI and NVIDIA have some work to do in the IGP realm in order to improve performance. 6150 seems to be better than 200M in Vista.

If you're considering an upgrade, might as well get a low-end discrete graphics card.

HexiumVII- I called ATI today about the RD690 (aka RS 690) and he couldn't comment on it or be specific, but it would be 1Q of next year.

Just letting you know in case you were thinking about waiting...it may be a long wait...
