yeah since i was venturing down a new road anyway with AMD i figured i would give a nvidia chipset mobo a whirl. going to check out those links now thanks. its so hard to sift through the thousands of reviews and make sense of it all.


lol, i swear my p4-478 build was easier.

Another board is the Foxconn C51XEM2AA- 8EKRS2H (590 SLI) which is a top end Nvidia chipset board with a $50 rebate still in effect on Newegg. I fortunately got mine with a $80 rebate with a $10 instant savings, so for $99 , quite a steal. Still, at $140 you are getting 590 features for the 570 price.

Only two minor drawbacks -- only three fan headers and the AM2 socket is really close to the memory sockets, so tall memory (like Corsair Dominators) will be a problem with large aftermarket coolers.
