Thinking about building a new computer and was wondering if the new AMD cards that are coming out will work in crossfire in AMD Motherboards?

Why wouldn't they? (Unless I'm missing something...)

I just figured the way technology is going something might have changed to make them not work and just wanted to be sure.

it's easy to see how owning an AMD board can make you anticipate that lol :D

(i'm on a s939 board myself and am disappointed i'll have to upgrade sockets also)

Off Topic, Were the sockets suppose to change again once the new AMD CPUs come out? Or are they sticking with AM2?

AFAIK, they are pushing an improved version of the AM2 socket with the new version of the HT bus (or whatever their FSB equivalent is). According to reports from awhile ago, the new chips should run on current AM2 motherboards at the reduced HT speeds. Basically, the chips should work fine except that the RAM will not be able to run at the full potential of the chip. IMO, that's not a huge deal.

Note that this info was from a long time ago. AMD is kind of tight-lipped about their K10 and so this may change in the future (or it may have changed in the past and passed under my radar)
