AMD X2 4000+ overclock

Not bad, not bad at all. 2T kinda sucks though. No performance numbers posted, but that has got to put out some blazing ticks though. If this is indicative of what too see, can you imagine the clocks on 65nm? I am glad I waited to build a new box. Hold out a little longer for "The Core" and then drop my money. But I got a feeling both are going to be impressive.

On air aparently. Although either the 1.55V that they claim or the 1.60V that CPU-Z shows is rather high.

Nice.

NOt that impressive....I dont think AM2 is really going to garner any if more headroom for ocing out of the aging 90nm process....With core likely to have a 20%+ advantage clock for clock and likely be able to OC to higher then even this on air.....I dont see any answers to Intel until 65nm comes out and then it is just roles reversed and AMD trying to win on shear MHZ...

I am not sure but if it anything like the current AMD chips with 1000HTT for effective 2000 it makes no difference even if you ran a 3x multi and 200HTT for 600....The AMD chips are not limited right now in 1P operations....So 900 versus 1400 means likely nothing in benchmarks or performance...
