Am the only one that gets really frustrated when your SO doesn't answer phone?

Now I'm not talking about while at work, or 4am, or anything like that... Situations like right now - we both got off at 5 (hour ago..) and were supposed to hang out tonight. Sent a txt around 5:30 with ":) Call me" and called her at 6..

I'm not sure if it's because I have to have my cell with me because of work or what, but situations like this really aggravate me... Mainly because it seems like when this happens she's made other plans/cancelled on me..

Some people can be bad with phones... Friends have bitched to me about my cell phone practice - I tend to leave it at home at times - not checking voice mail etc.... I think I suck with cell phones. Maybe thats the case with your SO.

Don't worry, I'm sure the dude she's with is taking care of her.

I kid, I kid.

Good to know the typical ATOT response is alive and kicking.

Fair enough.. but there is something to be said if she never failed to answer her phone in the beginning and is now suddenly cancelling plans and never picking up. I know nothing of the situation though, that is why I just threw that small comment out there.

She could have left it in the car or at her house or in her coat pocket on vibrate or <fill in the blank>. Or, she could be out with her new b/f.

ha! my best friends girl called me a couple days back asking if i had spoken to him because she couldnt get ahold of him and had been trying for the last hour. i responded: "what am i, his biographer?" and hung-up. sheesh, he could have left his phone somewhere or just had it turned off. he later told me she had a few choice words about me regarding that whole situation. /shrugs shoulders

Sounds like you are becoming less and less important to her.

LOL, that's no SO.

A girlfriend doesn't make or cancel plans on you or flake out like that. The wrath of god would come down if my SO ever did that.

when i had one, i would, but then i'd leave a message and go back to whatever else it was that i was doing...

normally i'll check back later and she'll have called and i'll have missed her call, so it goes both ways, haha

If it's a random call, no i dont care. If she know i'm going to call her at a certain time and she's not picking up, thats just me being annoyed at her flaking. But luckily she raarreeelly ever flakes

my wife does this to me all the time (doesn't pick up) and it makes me crazy. she always says she didn't hear it, or she left her cell at home/in the car/etc, or the battery was dead. my general thought is, then why the ****** am i paying for you to have a cell phone?!

At first I was going to say you're a douchebag and she was just worried about him. Then I realized that she had only been trying to get a hold of him for an hour, instead of a couple days.
