haha seriously... when i got my first pc 3 or 4 yrs ago, everything was new to me.. so it was fun. downloading mp3s, downloadinig software/games :Q, websites, games, etc.

but ever since i got my laptop.... there's nothing but school related crap on here... .pdf lecture notes, essays, only about 10 mp3s. that's about it. no games installed or anything. I never even transferred old files from the desktop to the laptop.

I haven't played a game in such a long time... at least a year. and that was Counter strike. I don't even use any IM's

I haven't played ANY of the new games that everyone is talking about.... all i do when i turn my laptop on is, check my email, browse this and another forum, maybe visit some website ,and try to do school related work.

I should buy a pc game to install on this laptop.. something online and fun. Or maybe i should just get the xbox live kit and some game. I never play my xbox either. wasted my money.

i feel like there's not much else to do on my computer.... what do you guys usually do on yours??

im kind of in your situation too. i just like being at the computer. it's easy and fun and entertaining. but i barely play games at all and only have a smattering of 'advanced' stuff here and there (my ipod, lots of ebay usage, IMs, lots of mp3s, occasionally some work with photoshop, etc.). but mostly it's da web.

the bad news for me is that being on atot has made me want to ADOPT the lifestyle my fellow geeks lead. i suddenly feel insecure for not knowing about counterstrike or warcraft or any of that other nonsense.

i hope i dont fall into that trap............

My "problem" is both of my computers are having major hardware issues and I am just keeping one going . . . no games and about 1/2 hour 'net a day . . .

HOWEVER, my social life is getting MUCH better . . . so I am getting a great deal while NOT fixing my computers.

i spend most my time on forums, and i never play the games i went to those forums for in the first place.

i ditched the 3 messengers in favor of trillian. my contact list is over 250 long.

Whats up with all the cat plugs I swear this is like the 2nd or 3rd time in the last couple days I have seen you plug the get a cat line.
