A tigerdirect video claims the VisionTek HD3850 has:

770 Core Clock
2250 Memory Clock

Mine brand new without being tampered with runs:

669 Core
829 memory
 
how do you know it actually runs at that speed. are you looking at a manual that came in the box, or using some benchmarking software?

possibly the mem speed adjusts to the load?
 
I'm looking at my ATI CCC which tells me what it's running at... and the Tigerdirect guys who demo'd it said it runs at those other speeds.. Ionno.
