Taking a shower and then putting the same clothes(well, shirt) back on afterwards?

:frown:

It seems quite.. counterproductive.

We were debating.. so I thought I would put the question to ATOT.

Was I unreasonable? Should I have just not said anything?

I don't think so. It's just not something that you do... or I do, rather. So that means she shouldn't do it too, right?!?! :p

It's a common sense thing, IMO.

It's kinda of odd, but nothing to get upset about. Besides, some clothes just wear better after they've been worn once :p

How long did she wear the shirt beforehand? Sometimes in the morning if I have to run a quick errand I will throw on a clean shirt and some shorts and head out the door. Then I'll come back, shower, and put the same shirt on only because it's been worn for a good hour or so. That's it.

I see no harm in it as long as it's not nasty or stinky. If it's been worn for more than 4 hours, that's my measurement, then it's time for something new.

EDIT: Don't get upset at your girlfriend for it; lighten up! At least she's not making you wear them. Get on with life!

Upset is realitive. I used "upset" on purpose instead of "angry" or somesuch. It's not like I beat her, or even raised my voice. :p.. It was just more of a "WTF?" thing.

She wore the shirt all day, and it was 95ºF here today... Her argument was that she didn't have any other shirts that were as cool, which is probably true.. but it isn't 95º anymore... lol

We're going to run to the bank real quick and read all the responses together when we get back... :D

I agree..that it doesn't make a whole lot of sense..but...does she smell? If she doesn't smell..then I guess its ok.

Girls smell better than guys due to massive amounts of perfume :D. If she doesn't sweat or smell then I wouldn't care much at all.

As long as she doesn't smell really bad, who cares? OTOH, if she has some serious BO, then I'd say you have more important things to worry about.
