Am I using too many security extensions for Firefox?

If everything is working as it should be then there is no point taking action...!

However that is major overkill :). But if everything if working well then i don't see a problem.

I use all those plus Refcontrol and self destructing cookies. If you use self destructing cookies make sure you right click the addon in the addons tab and select options to turn off the pop up notifier. It can be very annoying.

I would ditch Ghostery though. It does that same thing as Noscript, DoNotTrack and Betterprivacy.

I use ABP with Fanboys Ultimate list
BetterPrivacy
NoScript
RequestPolicy
CertificatePatrol
HTTPS Everywhere

I'm happy with this setup, and don't wish to use other anti-trackers/security addons at this time. Ghostery slows down browsing, and the others I tried didn't add much more than cruft.

I use FF within Sandboxie. The extensions I use with FF are No Script, DoNotTrackMe, Adblock Plus and BeterPrivacy.

Using disconnect, ghostery and DNT all together is bad idea IMO.
I remember reading somewhere that using multiple tracker blockers can cause problems.

By problems i mean that some of the trackers may actually NOT be blocked.

I use these-
Ghostery
NoScript
AdBlock+ w. Fanboys' List
PwdHash (thanks John Connor!)
Better Privacy (destroys flash cookies)
HTTPS everywhere

Apart from these I run my browser in a sandbox while doing risky stuff or browsing sites that are likely to be infected.

But you know what they say.. its never too much when it comes to being secure so...
