the first was the best one IMO. then when I saw that he could fly like superman and kick anyone's buttocks in the end, I realized the sequels would be boring.

I totally agree. Didn't see what the big deal was with the first one so I didn't even bother to see the sequels.

The first one was good when I first watched it; I watched it a second time and it was stupid.

The 2nd and the 3rd ones just plain sucked.

I watched the first without haveing heard anything about it, and that was a great experience. Not knowing that there was this virtual world and first starting to realize it at the same time as Neo was really cool.

I haven't watch any of the movie in a very long time but as I recall there were some references to god(obviously) I don't recall exactly what though. I don't care if it had the secret to life itself lol, the matrix trilology was horrible. WTF was with the horrible advertising in the matrix revolutions btw? uh that itself made me cringe. God there are so few good movies that come out anymore...now the LOTR that's superb. 🙂
