I think this years version is great. QB vision and precession passing are great. I guess you have to be a football fanatic to like it.

i cannot stand the new passing system worst step back in years...
will only be playing NCAA2006 this year for sure..
way better game.

I think the game is great. It doesn't take long to get used to the cone and precision passing...... this is not an arcade game anymore.. it's a true football simulation.

I'm with you...sort of. 06 is definately hard to get used to. However, I like the way EA went with this. Don't get me wrong, EA is definately Satan-Himself. While people are busy whining about the passing and whatnot, they are forgeting about all the additional tweaks 06 has. The Fair Play feature is awesome. Fair play forces you to play the game how it's meant to be played...going for it on 4th and 17 and you're leading by a touchdown in the 3rd quarter? Give me a break...but you know you sometimes just say f$&# it and you go for it. There's also better game calling by the refs, the reviews are a lot better.

There's plenty more that EA has added to this version of madden. To show that I'm not some fanboy, let me say this. Madden 06 is what 05 SHOULD have been. 06 is just a more refined and matured Madden 2005. But is that such a bad thing? 2005 was a pretty good game in of itself.
