Am I the only one who would like to see a Gmail calendar?

I've heard some chatter on /. and other sites that google might be looking to release a calendar app. I think if they did my outlook days could be over.

Thoughts?

I want a Google web-based office suite. Maybe a nice word processor, spreadsheet, and file management system. Integrated with a calendar and email.

If they had a calendar AND a traditional folder system and a better interface then I wouldn't need Outlook. It is those things that keep me with my email client.

Yup, I am definatly looking forward to this. sure there are a few sites and programs that do calendars now, but they dont do it quite right.. I just cant get used to them. and the big downside to outlook, is that your tied to one computer/location. Im at home, at school (maybe on 2-4 different comps during the day) and at work.. I need a portable calendar.
