Am I the only one who thinks the Osbornes aren't funny?

I mean...I've watched the show once or twice...and both times it didn't seem funny to me at all...I couldn't watch for more than 15 minutes...yet apparently 8 million people watch it...what is going on?

I don't get that show either.

It is a total waste of time. Nothing but alot of people swearing and acting stupid. Then you have Ozzy, who looks like he is mostly brain dead from all the drugs he has done.

If it were a satire, yes, it would be funny... but the fact that they're really like that just makes me sad.

I watched the show once. I didn't find it very funny. I cracked a smile once barely I think.

I enjoy the "humor" of it. Although, those of you that "don't get it".......How many of you are 21 and under. Being in my 30s, I grew up with Black Sabbath and Ozzy and seeing him on stage and all the hype and rumors of him. I enjoy the humor of watching it, seeing him try to cope with life now and children, and laugh my butt off. It's fun to watch it and say to yourself, "I bet he never realized that this is how everyday life would be for him"

You've also gotta realize that The Osbornes are the most functional, dysfunctional family. This is much more "real" to me than Survivor and those other programs.

It's not "funny" it's a reality show, you watch and see people more fooked up then you are (same as watching cops) then you feel beter about your own life

I've always liked Ozzy. When I heard about the show, I had to watch it at least once. I was amused. When I told my wife about it, she rolled her eyes. She doesn't care for anything about Ozzy. Not his music or anything he stands for. After watching it once, she is now the one to remind me when the show is about to come on. She giggles at Ozzy's buffoonery as much as I do. I guess the fact that it is real life is what is humorous, but that's just a guess.

From what I've heard, the credit for the whole concept goes to Howard Stern. Although he got nothing for it, Ozzy and Sharon have thanked him for it.
