Am I the only one who thinks the Geico caveman ads aren't funny?

I agree 1000%. I don't think I've ever laughed at one of the caveman ads. Maybe the very first one or something.

The first caveman ad was very funny. The rest of them were just stupid, including the failed sitcom and the continuing-to-fail vomit of additional commercials.

The gecko is not and has never been entertaining.

I don't laugh at very many commercials, so I can't use that to measure their humor. I think the ads aren't too bad, though. I don't have a sudden urge to change the channel when I see one like I did with the Chevy "This Is Our Country" series.

I am sick of both the caveman and the gecko-in the commerical when the gecko was on the escalator, I kept hoping it would get dragged in and ripped apart at the top. I wonder how much cheaper insurance would be if they cut back on the stupid commericals....

but the one on the beach is GREAT. i love that one the best. I only saw it a couple days ago for the first time.

Geico, along with Capital One and probably a few others, seem like the kinds of companies that spend so much money advertising their products that I'm very skeptical as to how they actually perform. In my experience, companies that advertise really heavily are often doing so to make up for poor quality and service. When the company's entire focus is on a constant, strong cash flow, customer satisfaction takes a back seat. But when they have to maintain their sales by promoting customer loyalty, they tend to be much better.
