Am I the only one who finds Kiln/Fogbugz really slow?

I can't seem to find anyone else on the internet mentioning how slow Kiln and Fogbugz are, but for me they are probably the slowest web applications I use. Anyone else notice this, or is there something going wrong on my end?

For those who don't know, Fogbugz is a bug tracking system and Kiln is an integrated DVCS.

no fogbugz complaints here, however we host it ourselves and i think even made some mods

no experience with kiln
