am I the only one who doesn't like the newest forum 'upgrade'?

I am talkin about the little window at the top of the threads, that has little links to each person's reply down below on the page. i think it makes this forum look like those crappy forums that used to use that style of posting, which just seems very messy to me and harder to follow.

also, now the whole 'page' thing that shows up on the ATOT main page, before you click on a thread, is all messed up. for instance, sometimes I will click on page 2 of a 75 reply thread, and it takes me to the first (and only) page.

and on top of that, when there are large threads, when you click on page 1, and there is a page 2 ... you cannot reach page 2 from the page 1.

anyone else think it's not really helping anything?

Change you Topic View up top on the right hand side to get rid of the tree. The Page 2 is being fixed. You can't expect a total change of platforms the forums are based off of to go off without a hitch do you? You do know that AT is the testbed for new FT versions.

nope, i did not know about AT being the test place for it. you learn sometihng new every day ...

Freaking SEARCH. You've been here since September of 2001 and you have to ask this? Did you not see the MONTHS of THREADS AND THREADS AND THREADS about how this new fusetalk version sucks donkey balls? Do you not EVER go into Forum Issues (where this thread belongs)?

Did you also notice that I have about 1680 posts ... in 3 years? that should tell you that I don't come on these forums as much as you people who can post over 8000 posts a year, spending day after day on the forums.

They just changed to the .NET version of FuseTalk, and there are still bugs being worked out. Be patient, and report any problems in the ongoing thread in Forum Issues.

Big deal. I have even fewer posts in an even longer time. And yet the "search" feature works the same. Also I read the "forum issues" forum if I am having an issue with the forums. (Clever name isn't it?). Post count has nothing to do with knowing how to use the forums.
