Am I the only one to notice that teenagers and kids in general (20 somethings) drive significantly worse in the presence of their peers but if alone with those older than them, drive better/alright?

This has been common knowledge for a long time...
IIRC, some states tried to pass laws limiting the passengers a new driver can have in the car.
