Because it's MY thread. You CAN leave you know.....
Next time we "share" a thread, then you can b!tch, which you seem to do best.

I dont bitch. Its you that is bitchin. You are bitchin about a product you dont use, and you keep trying so hard to make it seem like a crappy product.

What do you mean next time we share a thread? We shared every single Mac thread already, and your posts entirly consist of bad mouthing Macs, although you dont use one.

It's one thing for you to accept the fact that there are things about the mac that it JUST DOES NOT HAVE but you decide to fight it and shove YOUR ideas down my throat and say DO IT. It may be simple for you to live with out something the PC can do but the mac can't but I CAN'T. There is no motivation for me to switch to a mac and frankly I don't see it for others.

Then perhaps you should not post in Apple threads, nor should you even start threads about them. You shouldnt even click the link to the thread that has anything to do with them. Its quite simple.

Why should I? What prevents me from bashing them? Is the only reason you post responses to what I say is because you want to up your post count? I noticed the only time your on is when people discuss macs. Otherwise you have nothing useful to say.

Prevention has nothing to do with this. Doesnt make sense in this type of argument. But you dont use a Mac, so you really cant say anything about them.

I am on all the time. I discuss all kinds of things. I happen to like to discuss with people about Macs. I post responses to what you say because to show that you are posting idiotic things. Most of your posts consist of idiotic things, hence your entire postings in this thread itself. In every Mac thread, you have posted things to try to make the Mac look bad. You posted stupid things.

I noticed the only time you are on is to bash Macs. You are pretty useless if I must say. You posted in just about every Mac thread since the time you joined these forums. You use stupid arguments, which are not true, nor did many of them make sense.

For some strange reason I feel like everything you just said in that paragraph is a perfect reflection of you. But remember, a mirror not only copys things, but inverts them in a way. Try putting text in a mirror and you'll see what I'm saying. You also need to keep in mind that there are very few mac threads so I don't see how I could be ONLY posting in mac threads. If you look around when there aren't mac threads (which you rarely do) you'll see I'm not generally bashing macs. I only bash macs when people like YOU sign on. I've never created a thread saying "APPLE SUCKS, LETS BURN THIER BUILDINGS!!!" because I don't care. I just wanted to see if people in the anandtech community feel the same way I DO about Ipods.

Seriously, look at your post and you will (if you actually try) see that agian that is a perfect mirroring of your self.

No, but you have made posts that said:

Fast my ass, if anyone is brainwashed its you. You are sadly mistaken thinking that mac os X runs fast on anything. After reading anands article I feel like I can finally breath and be able to prove why the suck

Point being...... Still didn't say APPLE SUCKS, LETS BURN THIER BUILDINGS!!! I mean if you think that way after each post then good for you.

Yes, agian it mirrors you. Whether or not you want to say it applies to me, it doesn't matter because it still perfectly mirrors you. The points I made are entirely valid because those are faults the mac has. You can deny it all you want but no matter what timmy, you still can't fit a triangle block into a circle hole. Anyways you should know by now that what ever anyone says on the internet is purely an opinion.... Just like you thinking macs are superior, why bother to change what you believe. You sure as hell are trying to change my beliefs.

I have a gripe about a particular brand and you tell me why I should like it. I say, "It can't do this and or it doesn't do things the way I WANT it to" but you say, "you can do it this way" but thats the way I DON'T want to do it. If I want to run a particular application on a platform it's not "tough sh!t", it's, alright then BYE! If I want to be able to play farcry or run MS Office how I KNOW IT then I should be able to. If I don't like the mac version, then too bad for you and your mac friends because I won't switch.

No, it doesnt mirror me, because I am not the one who makes the dumb comments like yours. The points you try to point out are not valid, because you cant provide any evidence that Macs suck. Opinions are not considered valid in arguments. You cant prove anything with an opinion.

I never told you to like Macs. Quote me on this.

So are you saying Microsoft Office doesnt run on Macs? That is one statement that shows you dont know anything about Macs. MS Office has been on the Mac since OS 8.6! In fact, the first version of MS Word was on the Mac before it came out on Windows

Here is Microsoft Office for Mac smart guy.

If I don't like the mac version, then too bad for you and your mac friends because I won't switch. Uh I didn't say there wasn't a mac version of OFFICE. I just don't like thier version because it's significantly slower than the PC version and has quirks I don't like about it.

I told you reasons why I don't like the mac and you refuse to accept my reasons for it. They are valid arguements whether or not you would like to believe it. I find the "solution" to my problem with the menu is not sufficient, while it may be for you, it's not for me. I don't like that fact I can't play farcry on a mac, your solution would probably play a different game. There is nothing on the mac that I would need thats not on the pc, but I'm SURE there is plenty on the PC that the mac doesn't have. And what I mean DOESN'T have I mean the exact version. Premiere and photoshop are practically identical on the mac and PC but office isn't and other programs like MS access isn't because either they were proorly programmed on the mac or I'm forced to use another alternative. Please end this. I hate macs, you love macs, I love PCs, you hate pcs. Why bother???

lesson to be learned : whenever you quote someone, take a second to snip out stuff thats been quoted before. its an eyesore for those few who tries to follow the discussion

I'll take one if it's free, but I won't buy it using my own money. That goes for all Apple products.
i would do the same except i would ebay it right away. while i liked sound quality and features on rio players, iriver cant be beat for interface imo. why use a proprietary software when you can have your hdd structure of mp3s replicated on your mp3 player of choice? to me thats the only solution that makes any sense at all. i wonder how some of you people have your mp3s organized.

I must be slipping in my old age... or becoming too addicted to WoW... anyway, I finally saw this thread and yes ipods suck, yes there are better players - all of them. Every single player out there is better, either more feature packed, less expensive, of higher build/sound quality, or any combination.

Is this true, Gurcky?

Give me your opinion on the shuffle.

I really can't be arsed for one of our 20 page long debates, incidentally, so keep it short & sweet ;)

Didn't I just own you in the last one? Something about you bringing my dog into the argument, calling me names, and speaking as an authority on sound quality when you know nothing about it? Stick to NSync and Britney Spears forums, those arguing tactics may actually work there. Anyway I begged off on it, my stepfather is making a fashion statement without knowing it

In my opinion the ipod is just to big and fragile to do those things. plus being way more expensive than the Rio.

I think iPods are overpriced, but I'd take one if it was free :)

I have a Rio Nitrus that's 1.5GB, and that's more than enough for me. Of course, it was a gift, so I didn't have to pay for it. I can't see shelling out more than $100 for a glorified walkman.

I don't think you did "own" me at all. We went back and forth and it seemed to pretty much fizzle out generally through boredom... I wrote a lengthy comment and your last serious post was something about me writing a long comment and didn't address what I had said. After that I was sick to the back teeth of the deadlock and I don't think either of us posted anything much after that.

Yeah, I brought your dog into into the debate; I was curious about the snazzy neck tie. I'm not a fan of dogs, and clothing/accessories on the things are one of my pet hates (see what I did there?). Fair play to you if you want to do it, hell I collect carnivorus plants for a laugh. We're all different. It was a bit of fun, these forums aren't supposed to be seriously formal.

I think we called each other names and implied that each other was stupid, etc etc. You like to call me a kid who listens to Britney, I like to say you don't know much about design, it's a laugh.

You'll have to explain what "begging off" on something is, it's not a British term- at least not one I'm familiar with.

Anyways, as for the actual point of this thread, well, blatantly it's impossible to make a product that everyone is happy with, especially one you can hit so hard that the screen would crack on an iPod (they don't just randomly crack for no reason). About the 'kids' who are the only people who buy them, ask Ferrari, BMW and the other car manufacturers who are making their cars compatable how many children drive their cars :)

I got an iPod for Christmas. I went out two weeks ago and bought a 64MB flash player for jogging and I use that more. I'm not sure where, as an adult, I'll be sitting stationary with nothing else better to do to listen to 20GB of music.

It is really sweet as a little external hard drive though.
