Am I the only one that didn't know that Ford was still making the "old" F150?

Sigh - Hit enter too fast.

I might be in the market for a new pick up, so I went to the Ford Canada homepage to price/option out a 2004 F150, and I noticed they are still making the "old" style F150 called the "F150 Heritage".

This is the first I've seen this. Is that common knowledge that they are still making it?

Is it a 2004??? strange... sounds like they just have too many 2003s left over.

It's the only version you can get with a V6 which is why the kept it around. I suspect next year when they offer the V6 in the new body style that they won't offer the Heritage edition any longer.

Interesting - makes sense. Thanks.

Wonder why Ford didn't design the new F150 to have a V6 this year though?

yes, they're keeping it around to have discounts on it. plus, if ford has less engine options in the new F150 it costs them less to produce. and the margins on V8 trucks are better than stripper V6 trucks anyway.

Not only that.. The new f-150 does'nt have a reg cab. All are supercabish. I hate the 150's though no diesels...get a 250.
