Sorry to say that I picked it up on the PS3. Mainly because (even though they say it isn't), you know the controls and interface were designed for the console. I beat the main storyline. Obviously there are lots of challenge things to still do/find/figure out. I would like to see how well the graphics come out on the PC. The lack of AA on the console really did at times hurt this game, and the fact that it was also only 720p.

It was a heck of a lot of fun, but I just don't see how the controls can work on a PC unless you have a XBox controller to play it. The entire combat system is a beautiful melding of button mashing and timing, which I just don't see working on a keyboard/mouse.

I was watching comparison videos for the consoles (and lensoftruth) - I have to say it looks pretty damn good on both. I'd like to know what the PC is going to bring to the table.

I'm starting to worry that w/ the massive MASSIVE audience and sales from the console side of the house, PC games are just getting ported over w/ minimal improvements. Aside from SC2 and Diablo 3, I find my hopes for my PC are not coming to fruition.

This game will unlock in approximately 5 days and 4 hours

Yep.

What is the significance to steam colors for games? I noticed some text is blue/green, etc for games i have. But does not seem to be any relation to anything vs owned, not owned, etc.

It's just for looks. Has absolutely no technical significance. In fact, if you click on a game, then click on another game and go back, its color will change.

Batman AC, Crysis 2 and the Witcher 2 were my most anticipated games this year, so Batman AC is the last of the trio I'm waiting on :D

PhysX info did a new write up about the features that will be in Batman AC PC edition.

There's also a new youtube video out showing off some of the graphical effects that will be in the game.

Here's a useful chart to help you determine whether you will be able to max out the game:

Looks like it will be fairly strenuous!

Here's an example of the tessellation that will be found in the game:
