Unless you're doing quaterly taxes, what else is there to do? This would be my first year doing my own taxes. Aren't they due April 15?

My guess is today's the day everyone's extensions expire.

I guess I should ask my personal financial advisor
And, yes, I actually have one who does my taxes and gives advice on how to invest, etc. He's legally licensed and also does a few fortune 500 companies - he used to do Louisianna Pacific, for one)

WTF is an "extension"? I guess I should ask my personal financial advisor

You can't get an extensio n for the sake of an extension.

The reason for the extension is that I didn't have all the necessary information. One company that I am a partner in does not get me their tax documents until August or so. Therefore I cannont file in April. It should be noted that I do my taxes once in April using an estimate as to what the numbers from the company will look like and then file the actual papers in October. You can't get an extensio n for the sake of an extension. Think about it, I still haven't gotten my refund check.

Sure you can, it takes about 5 minutes.
