am i supposed to be using a copper shim with my golden orb???

i read somewhere that there is supposed to be a copper shim for use with the golden orb and the fcpga celerons.

i am not having any heat problems, but, you know...it could mean more speed.

What do you use to keep the copper shim stick to the chip? Themal epoxy?

You can use Copper paste...








we have the shims and Copper paste

Fold a thin piece of copper in half and put a piece of rubber in it to allow for expansion/contraction. Don't get too thick overall; its alot less stress on the cpu if it can compress easily.
