I think it's ridiculous. Someone comes in here screaming their head off about a perceived injustice but we are not given any proof. Oh no, we can't have proof because then he'll be banned. But we should take his word for it that he has the proof as opposed to taking say a mod's word for it that they have proof. It's so nice that everybody has proof that we can't see but we can still get all angry about it anyway. Then we got someone else coming in here screaming their head off, even calling one of our female members a wise and beautiful woman. I can't imagine why he would get vacationed. I think it's ridiculous that people are screeching like harpies over "DOSSIERS!" What are these dossiers? I don't know. They don't seem to know. They aren't telling us when we ask them. I guess we're supposed to take their word for it too and get all het up over that as well.

From what I saw, three people got vacationed/banned over something that several here noticed but did not get vacationed about. After the mod stuff that Loke pulled I would expect that most of us know better. I have no problem about GA because I recall seeing him post links to stuff in the mod forum telling people to read them. But apparently people are going to be so childish about this that what, five more got vacationed/banned over this nonsense. Please. Acting like a bunch of fucking high schoolers.

They spent their Sundays foaming at the mouth at each other. I went to see the symphony. They played some Strauss and made for a very nice evening. Somehow I don't think I'll lose too much sleep over all this nonsense that comes out of a box with a bunch of pretty lights in it.

I believe this thread has evolved (devolved?) to finger pointing and a refusal to stand up and debate actions in public.

The recent bans/vacations appeared to be, from a user's view anyway, silencing bans.

While most saw the initial bancations as overreactions, it was the stuff that came out of that mess that's keeping the thread going. Though if dissenters keep getting banned, I doubt it'll go much longer.

I actually liked Mosh because she was nice, level headed, gave decent advice, and wasn't a complete overbearing ass like a lot of people here.

Hi there. It's nothing you haven't seen before...with the exception of mods openly going off on each other, calling each other out, dragging skeletons out of the closet, etc.

I wouldn't call it "epic"...more like "confirmational." We've all known for a long time that Mods play favorites, target members for termination and abuse, etc. You were around during the "Change of Culture" so I'm sure you know what I mean. I'm sure many folks have already made screen grabs of this thread so that it may live on once it's deleted (tonight I'm betting.)

The only reason it's still open is in the interest of "full disclosure to the unwashed masses."

Seriously....geez. A lot of it amounted to that. One person says something. Other says "that's not what happened." First person says "Yes it did." Second says "No it didn't!" Then the banhammer swings to end the argument.



The door says "RESTRICTED AREA, AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY!" but the door was unlocked for some reason. They're still gonna kick your butt if you go in there and start taking pictures.
