So I'm looking up up warranty status Here

And it doesn't seem to like the Part No. that I put in.

The lines that show the serial number and part number are a tiny bit confusing on the actual laptop HDD, but here they are.

Its a Toshiba 120GB ATA150 laptop HDD.

Serial Number - 26AP1393S 8J3 EC.A (I think only the first string of 9 is the serial)
Model Number - HDD2D31 E ZK01 S (Toshiba says that its a 12 digit number, but I cant get it to accept any combination)

SKU - MK1234GSX

What am I doing wrong? Is there anywhere else to check?

Yes this is correct use the first nine " 26AP1393S " this works OK.

Model Number - HDD2D31 E ZK01 S (Toshiba says that its a 12 digit number, but I cant get it to accept any combination)

Here is where it doesn't work without changing the letter E to a Letter S example:
Change this: HDD2D31 E ZK01

To this: HDD2D31SZK01 and leave out any spaces and it goes through.

Double check that the E in the Model number is an E and not an S. I think all of this type drives this is an S

I think the S stands for SATA, Where the E would be for EIDE

Thanks man! Wonder how that happened. I'm 99% sure that there was definitely an E printed. Either way, glad to see that its still RMA'able :p
