Am I really good at UT, or does everyone else suck?

I just started playing last night and in my first game (team deathmatch) I lead everyone in kills by about 8. That happened through out my time playing team DM. Then through capture the flag (in a different room)!

Okay, must have just been a fluke...

But then today while playing capture the flag in a completely different room I kicked even more ass! I captured the flag 3-4 out of 4-5 times for my team (on average) with about 55-65 kills...always leading everyone in kills and flags.

Is regular deathmatch a lot harder?

I am just kinda surprised at how easy it is, I mean, I had never even seen these maps either!

Oh, and how do I talk to everyone in the room? And taunt? I know how to team talk (T).

I bought it for 10 bucks, no written documentation or instructions, just hear lots of screams and stumple around. Fun.

From my experience, when you play the team games - CTF, assault, the morons in the games were more content in killing each other, ah la deathmatch, than they were in capturing the flag/conquering the assault.

Killing is nice and all, but frags don't win mission based team games. Most of the times in CTF, I just ran the flag on my own and let everyone else use the maps for giant DM's.

Oh well. I'll let the kiddies play.

I've stop playing for 3 months now, but someday I hope you get on a server and run into someone like Kravnos, Beck from FOB(use to be an Anandtecher here) to test your skill. That's when you'll see how good they can be. Don't think you've just start playing and you can throw people around cuz I used to spend 4-5 hours each day practicing my skill and someone like Becks will toss me around like a salad. What is your primary weapon? Shock? I doubt that since it take months to master shock. But once you get it
