Am I reading the webpage correctly? Is 3Com charging for an OS 3.5 upgrade?

Is there any way to get around paying 15$. I have a palm V with OS 3.3. I dont want to pay them cause I dont need the upgrade. I just wanted to do it to keep up with the latest bug fixes and improvements.


Its like MS charging for win2k SP1. Ohh well, Maybe I dont need it..

I installed 3.5 on my PalmV--so far I've gained a simple 3D battery display and lost more precious flash RAM. I wouldn't bother if I were you.

I wanted 3.5 too until I finally found a way to get it and it's no different--in fact it has cuased more problems than it has fixed (some apps don't work right with 3.5)
