Am I protected w/ COD? (USPS)

Am I protected shipping something COD? They buyer needs to present a money order or cashier's check to the delivery person, right?

The only thing I can think of, is if the buyer tries to make some sort of fake check. Other than that, is there anything else I should worry about?

Are you the seller or the buyer?

Protected: NEVER.

EDIT:

If you are the seller they can refuse the box and screw you on the shipping.
If you are the buyer they can pack a cinder block and specify CC/MO.

I'm the seller. I'm thinking I should just ask for the payment first....but I was just curious.
