Am I overthinking this ? What memory would you pick ?

Maybe I am just making myself crazy for no reason, but I can't decide whether to go with Gskill

I am building a system as follows

Asus pq5-e
Q9550 CPU
4870 ATI card


Any thoughts ? Is one better then the other or not ?

me, i would go with the Gskill. i have had 2 sets from them over the last year and a half and have had zero problems with them. running 4x2gb kits right now with my Q6600

Same here. G.Skill has been good to me.

Look up the motherboard compatibility list though. If one of them is listed, I would take that. Either one should work fine though.
