well i ordered an msi neo2 platinum 939 board. i have a winchester core cpu (3200+ athlon 64). the board i got from zipzoomfly came with bios rev 1 and it wont even boot up! from what i hear u need at least 1.2 or 1.3? i called newegg, mwave, and monarch but they all say that they cannot guarantee that the motherboard they send out will be compatible with my 90nm cpu. im confused... someone help me out here. now i gotta pay dumb restocking fee for zipzoomfly

those with the board. what does it read under the 3rd pci slot? mine says MS-7025VER : 1

does that mean i got revision1?

I just installed everything today.....

Had a bitch of a time to get everything to run....

First I forgot to attach the little ATX +12 V for the CPU.....

Then the ram didn't work right....

I finally got it to boot with only 1 single DIMM in DIMM slot 1....after playing around I got both to work (I have 512MB DIMM and 256MB DIMM).....

in my manual on page 3 or iii it says at the bottom revision v1.0 date july 2004. can u check your manual guys if you have the neo2 platinum.

same thing Lynx...and btw....enable PMs...I tried to send you one but it said you are refusing them...

rev one doesnt mean that you have 1.1 bios. You probably have 1.2. just try booting with one stick of ram or call msi tech support see what they tell you.

ms-7025ver under my psi slot. My comp wont boot with 1 stick of ram in it =/ only two wth?

edit: boots with one now, 1 memory is bad =/
