am i out of line here?

about a week ago, this girl i just started talking to (actually, my "ex") and i planned on hanging out on the fourth of july (tomorrow). about 2 days ago (and up to an hour ago) she began being a total bitch to me, and basically ignored me. when she started talking to me again, and wasnt mean (about an hour ago), she made no effort at all to mention anything about plans tomorrow. secondly, the conversation was still pretty sketch. so i took the "hint" and presumed that the plans were off (without broaching the subject) and simply made new, funner, better plans. so then a few minutes ago, she gets all pissed cuz i made new plans and "ditched" her. yeah, i ditched her. but was i out of line in doing so/presuming so?

No, I think you did the right thing. Girls like these power trips, and I would bet that if she had made plans, she wouldn't have thought twice about it. (Just my experience from girls.)

Dude, who says you HAVE to see someone if you don't want to? Suck it up, tell her WHY you broke the plans, and go do what you want. She's an ex, so there's no huge responsibility or reason for you to feel obligated to her. But make sure you tell her WHY you don't want to do anything with her; that's key.

she's got another boyfriend and wasn't sure about the 4th...he must have had plans or she felt guilty about having sex with someone else on a holiday leaving you alone.....
