Hey all

I've this pc:
Asus A7V133
Amd Duron 800@866=6.5x133
256Mb Sdram pc133
GigaByte Geforce 2 Pro 64Mb DDR
IBM UDMA100 7200Rpm 40Gb 60GXP

My Question Is, Am i need to upgrade my pc ? and if so, what is the best and chipest upgrade out there today ? or is it best to wait for further hardware products in the near future ?
my primary uses for my pc is Games, and some 0-day games become very slow to play with...
i'm very low in cash now, so take it under consideration.
10x alot

Heck, of course your system requires some major upgrading:

1 CPU ---> get an Ahlon XP 1600+ with a Volcano 6 cooler. $50+$10
2 RAM ---> add another stick of 256MB PC133 $30
3 Video --> you really would want at least a DX8 compliant video car now. The choices may vary considerably. Personally, in your case I'd get a Radeon 9000 (non-pro) 64MB by Sapphire (they're about $60).

So it would be an about $150 worth of an upgrade. After it I'm sure you'd be able to run all the modern games like Doom III for example.

Add another 256mb stick of pc133 $35, 8500LE $70, and 1.3ghz Duron Morgan core for $37 EDIT: Booster is right, get the Athlon. I was mixing up the A7V with the 133 model on CPU support. and you'd have a cheap upgrade that should let you game @decent resolution without all the eye candy turned on for some time to come. If you can ante up more cash get put it into a faster video card, the 9500pro would be a sweetspot for price/performance. This presumes you live in the U.S. of course.
