Am I Looking Too Much Into This Movie? *Possible Spolier*

I just got done watching Vanilla Sky, which was a great movie. I don't quite understand the ending or I am looking too much into it. When you hear Sophia's voice at the end saiying "David, wake up", was it just a big dream or was that the start of his new life? I'm sorry if this sounds stupid, but it seems like it could be either way.

I don't remember her voice at the end. But I remember that he decides to wake up from the "vivid dream" or whatever it was called. He was 150 years into the future, so everyone was dead for some time, including Sofia.

Yeah, he says he wants to wake up from his lucid dream. Does that mean they dethaw him? I thought he was permanently dead and was just going to start another dream where it's the real world, not one made up in his head. ?????

He was frozen (still alive), but trapped in his dream. They were trying to get him out but couldn't until the end. After he jumps, he'll wake up in the real world 150 years later.
